We are an Independent Catholic Church.
We are Catholic Christians, just not under the governance of Rome, which is sometimes referred to as the Western Church.
Instead we are smaller groups of churches throughout the world called jurisdictions. This is similar to the Orthodox Christians,
which is sometimes referred to as the Eastern Church. The "Independent Catholic Movement" within greater Catholicism
has a rich history especially here in the Americas.
We are with the Reformed Catholic Church (https://www.reformedcatholic.org) Jurisdiction.
We have a Presiding Bishop that is elected for a 6 year term at our jurisdictional Synod that is held every 2 years.
